Healthy, Home-Delivered Meals
"When it comes to my patients' health, I always start by looking at their diet. No medication, herb or supplement can take the place of a whole foods diet - preferably made up of the finest unadulterated ingredients (and prepared with love!). This is one of the most challenging recommendations I make but it is THE MOST important investment a person can make for their health. Unfortunately, very few of us are able to take the time to cook and eat in the way that would benefit us the most. Holly Mendenhall's Unfussy Food is the perfect remedy. I find Holly to be extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. The food is exquisitely prepared and delicious - you will be amazed at how much better you will feel. My patients love her- and so do I!
- Aimee Gould Shunney, ND / Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine"Lunch was DELICIOUS! The portions were generous, and everything was so fresh. I was the envy of the lunchroom."
- Mary H. / Brooklyn Heights
"After we moved to a new apartment (with no time to grocery shop and meal plan) we were given a gift of Unfussy Food. What a saving grace! All of the deliveries were delicious. The meals included a healthy combination of vegetable and protien dishes, always providing good choices when confronted with what to eat next. I love how fresh the ingredients are, and the care Chef Holly takes to provide all the extras, like guacamole for the enchilladas and goat cheese for the salads. And her brownies are something else. It's clear that Holly takes a lot of care to create lovely healthy dishes that can be devoured and relished (even after being reheated).

Public Cooking Classes
"I had a great time at the cooking class. I have already made one of
the dishes (Soba Noodles with Sesame Ginger Sauce) which was so easy
and got some rave reviews! What I liked most about the class was the
way you dispelled some of the mysteries of getting around the kitchen.
Your tips were very helpful. You provided clear instruction and let us
learn by doing. I will definitely be looking to add to my culinary
repertoire by attending more of your classes!"
-Noah L. / Park Slope"I
really enjoyed your class. Since I went to your class I've been
shopping at the Farmers Market and starting to cook healthy meals for
myself!"
-Anna M. / Coney Island"I love all the new foods you introduced me to and all the neat
information you supplied. I will certainly continue to recommend you to
others!"
-Mary H. / Brooklyn Heights
"I thought that the recipes
were nice and easy, and everything tasted great! I'm going to try
recreating the meal (Baked Wild Cod, Quinoa and Winter Greens) this
weekend!"

Unfussy Facts
If you've got some delicious leftovers in the fridge, don't be tempted
to ruin them in the microwave. For meats, rice, casseroles and
vegetables, turn your conventional oven to 350 degrees and cover food
with foil in an ovenproof dish. Heat 15 - 20 minutes and enjoy your
delicious food, again!
